Inspiration Unbound
Are magazines your source of design inspiration? They are for Carrie. No wonder she wanted a kitchen that looked like it came straight from a glossy page.
About the Project
CARRIE HAMILTON: FEBRUARY 2011 HOME DEPOT KITCHEN OF THE MONTH
When Carrie and her husband were building a new home, they wanted a quality kitchen that would rival something you would see in a magazine—all for a very tight budget. Kitchen designer Desiree Goumaz of the Covington, Washington, Home Depot Store #4737 helped them create a custom, showcase kitchen that was the picture of beauty and convenience. Carrie and her husband started with sophisticated Savannah cabinetry with a Maple Mocha Glaze. They added a dramatic island for increased counter space and, by utilizing American Woodmark promotions, were able to add decorative accents and options, such as CushionClose glides and roll-out trays — all within their budget.
