About the Project

PEGGY WALKER: OCTOBER 2010 HOME DEPOT KITCHEN OF THE MONTH

Just one look, and Peggy fell hard for Savannah cabinets with a Maple Cream glaze finish. But what’s not to love? Light and captivating, the cabinets were the inspiration for both her laundry room and kitchen remodel. Peggy was excited to work with kitchen designer Cheryl Nolte of the Fairfax, Virginia, Home Depot Store #4639 to extend the look in the laundry room to an open plan kitchen with plenty of room to entertain guests.  And there were plenty of options for maximizing storage and convenience with sophistication and style, such as hidden double wastebaskets, roll out trays and a wine storage cabinet. In the end, Peggy’s kitchen is a love letter to beauty and functionality.
